Skirt Sports Sweepstakes!

Well, guys, this is a little last minute and I am sorry.

Some exciting news though. A few weeks ago, Skirt Sports emailed me asking if I would want to partner with them and help promote their sweepstakes.  Now, even if you are new to this blog, you have seen my pictures and in almost every one of them, I am wearing one of their skirts.  (Yes, I know I have to update the pics above, but I don't know how! No, really. I don't know how.)
Just me, finishing 26.2 miles in my favorite skirt.

My first reaction was "Holy Cow!!!", then I cried, then I showed the email to my mom.

I emailed then back right away that I am on board!

Well, things got a little delayed with me running 26.2 miles and all, and I am sorry to say it ends tomorrow! There is still time though and you won't want to miss out on these great prizes.  The list below is the Grand Prize!  So cool!

I hope that this is just the beginning of a beautiful relationship with Running While Mommy and Skirt Sports.

Good luck!

  1. First congratulations on your marathon, what a wonderful accomplishment!! Second, congratulations on your relationship with Skirt Sports, thanks for sharing this opportunity. From someone who only runs in capris because I can't stand how shorts can ride up, how do you find the legs on these skirts? I am so hesitant to order and find out that I spend the whole run pulling down on the legs. Thanks again!

  2. Thank you!

Well, first, I was a capri or pants only girl when I first started to run. When I discovered Skirt Sports, I was hesitant also as other skirts just didn't' work.

I have two kinds of skirts for Skirt Sports, the Gym Girl and the Happy Girl. I am wearing the Gym Girl in the above pic. All 26.2 miles and never once had to adjust the shorts underneath.

The Happy Girl has longer shorts and covers more. Can me more comfortable if you have longer legs. Again, once I have them in place, I run, no worries. Plus the Happy Girl has an extra pocket with a zipper that I love!

I also own their capri skirt, name is escaping me at the moment, love that too!

And just yesterday, I ran in their Tough Girl pants with skirt and again, another winner!

I have purchased other skirts but never wear them, they just don't feel as good as Skirt Sports and I am slowly in the process of replacing all my bottoms.

I say give them a try, I am sure you will love them. Let me know what you think!
